MSE International hosting Earth Observation Blue Economy day at ISRSE.40; 20th March 2025, Farnborough
MSE International will be hosting a Blue Economy day at the 40th International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment, taking place on Thursday 20th March at Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre.
Convened biennially since 1962, the Symposium is a global summit for world-renowned experts to share crucial, emerging knowledge in earth observation and remote sensing in pursuit of protecting the planet and its people from harm. ISRSE-40 (17th-21st March) will run alongside the inaugural Farnborough International Space Show, an event which will pioneer the commercial space age.
Thursday 20th March will focus on the Blue Economy and MSE International will be involved in the following sessions which will be of interest to marine and maritime businesses.
Satellite Monitoring for Ocean Activity and Polar regions – Thursday 20th March, 09:15 – 10:00, Panel event; Nick Lambert from NLAI and MSE International will be on this panel
Satellite technologies are revolutionizing maritime surveillance, fisheries management, and climate monitoring in the polar regions. This session will examine how EO is used to monitor sea ice dynamics, marine pollution, illegal fishing, and the impacts of climate change on ocean ecosystems.
The Blue Economy: Accelerating Sustainable Growth through Earth Observation – Thursday 20th March, 10:00 – 10:45, Panel event: Jonathan Williams, CEO of MSE International will be speaking at this session. More details to follow on the other speakers and presenters for this session.
In addition there will be two workshops held in the afternoon on Thursday 20th March; directly addressing Earth Observation and the Blue Economy. Timings for these workshops will be confirmed shortly.
