The theme for the 2025 SMI Conference is 'The Future of the UK Naval and Maritime Security Enterprise' covering 5 core sessions:

• Underpinning Defence: Lessons Learned from the Civil Maritime Enterprise
• Opportunities in AUKUS
• Safeguarding Critical National Infrastructure
• Investing in UK Shipyards

The event will take place on Tuesday 1st April 2025, at the Leonardo Royal Southampton Grand Harbour from 8.00am to 9.30pm.

The one-day event will bring together key stakeholders within the UK’s maritime defence and security enterprise to discuss future opportunities and build valuable connections. The SMI Conference 2025 will expand on the work of SMI's Strategic Defence Review and AUKUS working groups. In addition to the main conference programme, the event will once again host an exhibition.
