The 5th Ocean Tech Expo is taking place on 17th & 18th June 2026 at the University of Plymouth. This is a must attend event for anyone passionate about the future of ocean innovation and sustainable marine technology.

The Ocean Tech Expo will build on the success of four previous events and showcase leading technical capability and near market innovation capable of decarbonising, adding to national security and increasing productivity across a range of offshore activity.

The event will feature 70 speakers across 2 days, with 2 lecture theatres running concurrently. In 2026 the event aims to attract 400 delegates. The event will focus on applications of technology to the most relevant market opportunities for the SW region demonstrating technologies with cross cutting applications and dual use across defence, energy, maritime and coastal infrastructure. 

The event will attract leading industry figures as keynotes and also feature practical business support sessions, an investor event, and an evening boat cruise complete with in sea demos. 

Ocean Tech Expo is organised by Maritime UK SW, a not for profit partnership of business, research and government dedicated to driving forward sustainable growth in the SW ocean economy. All proceeds from the event will be reinvested into the sector.
