In November of 2020 the Prime Minister announced ‘The Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution’. Inside that announcement £20m was committed to be invested into the Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition to develop clean maritime technology.

Innovate UK, on behalf of the Department for Transport, will manage the application process for the programme opening in March 2021.

KTN will host this online briefing event, 29th March 2021, enabling you to learn more about the programme and provide you with the opportunity to pitch your idea in order to form a consortium.

Collaboration Platform: To help potential applicants to find suitable partners for the competition, KTN has launched a networking platform. This tool can be used to discuss project opportunities and facilitate introductions between organisations interested in this area. It provides powerful networking through online messaging and 1:1 virtual meetings. You will be able to use this to upload your profile, search other users’ profiles and book video chat meetings via the platform.

We recommend you start building your profile now here, ahead of the briefing on 29th March. After this, we encourage you to revisit the site to start browsing other users’ profiles and send messages to discuss possible collaboration opportunities.

This event will take place Monday 29th March 2021, 10.00 - 12.30 online. Click here for more information and registration details.
