The Clean Inland Shipping (CLINSH) closing conference; 'Sustainable Water Transport, Clean Air' will take place in the Netherlands on 25th November 2021.

Delegates are invited to attend to learn about the findings from the CLINSH project which has been working with public and private partners from four European countries to improve air quality in urban areas along inland waterways. Through real-time measurementas on board vessels and at shore locations, the project has demonstrated the effectiveness of emission reducing techniques and alternative fuels on a fleet of more than 40 participating vessels. CLINSH has also demonstrated the benefits of and experiences with the use of onshore power supply.

This closing conference will share the results and present recommendations for the most effective ways to reduce harmful emissions in inland shipping and 'green' the fleet as important steps in the transition towards the Clean Air and Green Deal goals.

Further details regarding the timing, agenda and location of the conference will come shortly.
