Connected Places Catapult (CPC) is seeking SMEs with innovative solutions to join a 6-month accelerator programme for the maritime industry.

The Maritime Accelerator programme is a great opportunity for SMEs to receive commercial support from a consortium of industry, academic and regulatory partners and to trial and test their disruptive innovative solutions.  Delivered in partnership with the National Oceanography Centre, Port of Tyne, National Shipbuilding Office, DP World and University of Plymouth, there are three challenge areas that have been identified for SMEs to apply for: 

• Fuel/Logistics
• Data 
• Infrastructure 

The accelerator will support the cohort of SMEs through a bespoke programme tailored to their requirements. This support will include investment readiness, technology and product development, alongside introductions to maritime stakeholders and potential customers. These activities will be co-designed with the cohort of SMEs to support them in growing their businesses and adapting their propositions to the partners’ requirements.
