The Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC) is a multi-year research and development funding initiative, launched by the Department for Transport (DfT) in partnership with Innovate UK in 2021. Maritime UK Solent is collaborating with DfT to hold an event at BAR Technologies, in Portsmouth, on 5th October 2022, to encourage innovative clean maritime and smart shipping projects in support of the transition to Net Zero.

Local businesses are invited to attend the in-person event at Bar Technologies on 5th October 2022 (9.30-12.30) to learn more about the programme. It is a great opportunity for Solent-based maritime businesses in the innovation space to meet DfT representatives and learn more about research and development funding available to them, but more importantly to make connections for potential project collaborations.
