Free training for Gosport businesses in AI opportunities
The Gosport Digital Accelerator Programme is an opportunity for small businesses in the Gosport area to access focussed support with digital and technological adoption.
Commissioned by Gosport Borough Council and delivered by Solent Partners, the Gosport Digital Accelerator has been developed to help new and established small businesses increase productivity and growth when implementing new technologies and to utilise the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence.
Businesses will be guided through the programme by a lead mentor who will work with them to identify the specific opportunities and challenges relating to digital adoption in their business. The lead mentor works with partners at Digital Boost to connect each participant with expert mentors in the most relevant fields.
The programme includes a series of six ‘Digital Days’ workshops featuring expert speakers from a range of businesses and organisations. These sessions will focus on topics that can add real value to businesses as they navigate their digital adoption journey.
The project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and is part of a wider £1m programme to boost digital skills in Gosport. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
